Worship

We enjoy building our community by collectively worshipping the Lord & encouraging each other with “psalms, hymns & spiritual songs”.

Our rostered musicians & singers practice together before each Sunday service.

 

Children - during school terms

K-Yr6: Held during the sermon. Parents/Caregivers sign their children in/out. Please inform the programme leaders of special requirements of your child(ren).

0-3yrs Quiet Room: This room is for parents/caregivers with babies & toddlers (BYO toys). Audio is installed so the sermon may still be heard.

Baby change facilities are provided in the Parenting & Universal Access Toilet.

 

Youth - Yrs 7-12 – during school terms

Fortnightly Friday nights: 7-9pm at various locations with the occasional extra weekend activity.

Sundays: During the sermon, the youth meet seperately.

 

Information, Communication & Technology

Our Information, Technology and Communication team is a vital part of weekly
services.

 

Community Outreach

LOCALLY We support:

Community Breakfast: Onsite Sunday mornings. 8.30am-9.15am breakfast, warm drinks & fellowship for those doing it tough.

Street Chaplaincy: In partnership with other community churches. Friday & Saturday nights.

YouthCARE: Bunbury region. BVCF hosts prayer groups during school terms.

GLOBALLY We support:

Compassion: Child sponsorship

International Justice Mission: an international organization focused on human rights, law, and law enforcement. 

Ping-pong-a-thon: Annual fundraiser, in the fight against slavery.

Tearfund Australia: PNKS project in Cambodia & the Really Useful Gifts Christmas catalogue.

Social Ministries

Combined events: We enjoy a shared lunch on the second Sunday of each month, and occasional gatherings throughout the year.

Women’s Ministry: Monthly coffee catch ups, 10-12pm at various locations.

Men’s ministry: Men’s coffee time, Thursdays 10.00am-11.30am at the Bean Café, Bunbury.
